My mother is my best friend
and she will be til the end.
She's someon I can talk to
and cheers me up when I am blue.
When I am scared she calms my fears,
when I am sad she dries my tears.
When I'm in need she's always there,
my worst of burdens she'd gladly bare.
So you see as a mother she's the best,
but as a friend she tops the rest.
